I resurrected or some shit idek

Hoi.
geez, its been TWO years since I last came in here.
Most of you probably already forgot me so what the hell, I'll just introduce myself.
Back in '12 when smbx was the shit and I just started out as a weeb, I crawled up and down this forum and started many projects but hardly finished any lmao. I was probably that one fucking sperg weeb. Like, I can hardly go through my list of posts without questioning my existence jfc.

The reason I came back is because I remember there being projects to create/break into SMBX to actually fucking update it and I'm having trouble finding any of those sites again. If you guys could update me on what's even going on with that shit, please do.
Meanwhile I have to update the fuck out of this profile, it's making me cringe. (Holy hell was I really this much of a sperg?)
Anyways, yeah. Depending on how much work I do and how fast I can knock up a chick in AA2 and get bored of managing a Harem, the likelier the chances of me actually coming back to SMBX. Like, I would, but, I kinda wanna wait for updates, y'know?
in the end nothing we do really matters to the universe lmao.

Well, you've certainly missed out on quite a lot. For starters, http://www.supermariobrosx.org/forums/index.php is now the most popular SMBX forum by far. This forum is lucky to get one post per month, even if it's just spam. The new forum founder and a few other members who've most likely left the community for good by now tried to brainstorm ideas as to how to bring activity to this forum, but so far, nothing has worked. The only time this forum gets any surge in activity is when the forum mentioned previously goes offline, as evidenced by these threads:

That project was supposed to integrate LunaDLL into SMBX, and it was a success. However, LunaDLL's Auto-code proved to be too unintuitive for most people, so Lua was integrated into LunaDLL, and the result is referred to as "LunaLua." That depends on whether you think learning a programming language is user-friendly. Really, it's like anything: you'd need to learn how it works and practice in order to get good at it. It's definitely a bigger learning curve than learning how to use SMBX by itself, but it can be used to accomplish interesting things.
