it could be the whole easy to spam thing, remember redigitiscool
but im sure there would be a way to limit the amount of recipients so that isnt a problem

Thats not a problem. People just report the person and the staff takes care of them.

Also yeah would be good cause sending everyone the same pm one by one is pretty hardworking.

Yeah it's still a problem because they could send some pretty fucked up shit and people would see it, regardless of it being reported

SMBX.org uses phpBB, not prophpBB. prophpBB is a specific service that allows you to register a forum for free using a slightly limited and simplified version of the phpBB software, apparently lacking the capability for group PMs.

It's actually possible to make so you can send the message to more than one PM recipient. Go in ACP > Private Message Settings > Maximum number of allowed recipients.

The ACP is configured such that it looks like it can be set up but when I set the parameters accordingly, it still doesn't work. I tried to do this several months ago; it just wouldn't.
