Oh, but that's not the goal of the entire thing, like, you do it, but you're not actually needed to?

I've not played this yet.

Well, the concept is, you get the stars so that you can kill Bowser, so yeah, it sort of is the final goal, so I guess it's more like SM3DW than anything.

SM3DW, okay. Well that game was said to be alright, better than SM3DL, which was so terrible.

SM3DL was good, better than NSMB2. Where is this "people didn't like it" coming from? You said the same thing about ORAS in the Pokémon thread.
Well I guess haters gonna hate

I played the episode and it's pretty good! It was lots of fun to go through the levels and look for stars in some of them. I can see you did a good job making sure the levels were fair and fun all the way through. Graphically, most levels looked good, with some nice vanilla-ish levels and some more customed levels. One big suggestion for your next levels would be to put more intricate gimmicks in them. While your levels were fun, they were pretty simplistic, with not much variety to them. I'd like to see some more creative ideas put into your levels, and that will improve your levels a lot. Another thing that I thought could've been better was the level variety. Most levels were just grasslands, or some form of a grassland-wrold level. You should add other themes, like volcano, mountain, etc. Overall, great job! I really enjoyed playing through this episode.
