Special thanks to Cloud for making the logo.

I started Super Mario Legends about 18 months ago, and due to the lack of progress recently, I've come to a decision about what to do about this project. I've figured out that what I planned ahead of me for the original SML was just too much. So, I came up with the idea to make a very short project. So yes, the old Super Mario Legends is cancelled. But a new one is being started right now! This project will be the first part of a potential trilogy, perhaps saga, idk yet. But I'm just going to start with trying to complete this episode so it won't overwhelm me as other projects have in the passed. Here is what this project will include:

-20 High Quality Levels
-Many Brand-New Levels
-Some Old Levels from the Original Super Mario Legends
-Bonus Areas (Toad Towns, Peach's Castle, etc.)
-A Unique and Creative Storyline
-3 Stars Per Level
-No Distinct Worlds
-Loads of Fun!

So I hope you are as excited as I am for this! Now without further ado, let's get to some screenshots!

It's finally complete! I'm pretty sure Quill has submitted his CC10 reviews, so I think it's safe to post the download link now. The episode contains 20 main levels, plus a bunch of "storyline" levels. You can see more by playing it yourself, so go ahead and download it! I hope you all enjoy.

If you don't want to download version 1.3 and have already downloaded the episode, download this patch file and replace it with the existing file in the episode folder: https://www.mediafire.com/?ctfczthk8a6295o

It is needed to complete the game. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Sorry for the lack of progress lately, I've been busy with TI3 and now my CC10 level (which will appear in this project). Anyway, here are some new screenshots from a level I just recently finished, after being started about 1 year ago...

This is really well done. A bit of everything in 20 levels?

How long are they each? They must include at least a world worth in like every 3 levels or something. :P

Looks outstandingly beautiful SuperMario7. I love the mix of graphics and the background fits really well.

Aysedaesi: Thanks! The levels takes about 2-4 minutes to complete, depending on their placement in the game. So they're fairly short, but I personally don't like playing or designing hugely long levels. There are actually no worlds in this game, just one big world map with different areas, where you need to go to certain places to get stars and characters that will allow you to move on to new areas. So yes, there is a bit of everything. :>

Natsu: Thank you as well! I'm happy you like the level.

Looks really great as usual. I love the design in the arctic screen, it's very well done. Excellent work.

Sezixor: Thank you!

Aysedaesi: Yeah, I wanted to do something different with this project. Hopefully SMBX will stop hating you so you can play this when it's done. =P

I dunno if it will. I'm on a laptop so it lags a lot, which is a part of the reason i quit Level Judging.

I love this project, is my favorite, all levels are a work of art that offers a lot of fun, and a favorable gameplay, not to mention its graphics precious, I am very anxious that this become one episode, and I'll try to send revisions to the demo 3.1 soon, I had some problems, I can not wait for this to end!. :)
