I wouldn't say "everyone", some users still don't want to use PGE for whatever reason. Some time ago, I with GLuigiX (Marina) and zlaker<gender_here>357 made a small thing for CC9 - we put 3 references to PGE in our CC9 levels.

Yeah I know, and they were all pretty badass levels. Is this engine much different in terms of use? Too lazy to read.

Engine part is in early development state, just level player (it should work from test menu), but I plan make them like to old SMBX's engine, but with additional settings like volumes, max fps, etc. More save slots (just you can open/save file with any name unlike save1, save2,save3, but I will leave old saves system for lazy guys which don't wanna type filenames, but I will add 4'th field "save as"). Also I wanna add field "Quit without save" to exit from game without saving. One thing will be: when you start engine without --config="<configName>" argument, you will be asked for config pack each startup. BUT, each config pack will have separated "worlds" folder which will need to separate A2MBXT and SMBX episodes, for example. When I will done engine, new SMBX game will use them instead of original smbx.exe. Also you will can play levels without opening of editor (I will add context menuitem into assiciated lvl/lvlx file which giving able play them now without starting editor or including them into dummy episode).

Also, don't forget, SMBX - game, PGE - game engine, when I will done PGE, SMBX will be ported to them fully. Game will be leaved same, but engine will be new. This way will launch SMBX progress later which was stopped in 2011'th year. Anyway, with using of PGE will started another game projects which will be based on them.

Oh, That's a little better now. Will you be adding a variation of Luigifan's Episode compiler thing?

I think, it will much useful, also:
- SMBX uses alone "worlds" folder for episodes
- PGE will use multiple "worlds" folders for each installed config pack
Also will be made configuration package manager which will also be useful to download & install & remove custom config packages. To use Luigifan's Episode manager, it can be exchanged with adding of configuration packages management thing to allow choice config pack to find compatible episodes. (Note: each config pack can have non-SMBX64 style: ItemID's can be not follow to same SMBX's items which giving full freedom to creation of itemlists. If config pack following SMBX64 Standard, this means itemID's defining same items which in the SMBX).

SMBX64 Sdandard is an item list first. If you made config with another item list, it will not be compatible with SMBX. All SMBX64 Standardized config packs are compatible with SMBX.
